Open Arms Care is pleased to announce the completion of their Client replacement homes in Memphis. Several years in the making, OAC had the vision to replace some of its oldest homes with modern construction including state of the art space planning, to accommodate open concept living areas, individual bedrooms, extra wide hall ways for wheel chairs, overhead lifts, and numerous safety features for the protection of clients and their caregivers.

Initial response from clients was sheer pride and jubilation. There was also an opportunity to teach a new address to each Client. The homes are located in the welcoming cities of Bartlett, Eads, Cordova and Memphis.

Tammy Lytle, Executive Director of Open Arms Care Memphis, said: “During this time when COVID is occupying a lot of the headlines, I am pleased with our management and staffs ability to focus on something that is so positive for all of us. These new homes are a reminder of the importance of the services we provide to the IDD population, their families and the Memphis community. I am so proud of everyone who helped us achieve this long term goal. We look forward to the next thirty years.”
