WHY GIVE?
Open Arms Care is solving one of societies more difficult issues: How do we choose to care for those people who cannot survive on their own without twenty-four hour support. None of us can do it ourselves. It is expensive, labor intensive and has many challenges. Providing a structured environment for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is what we do and yet there are thousands of people just in Tennessee who are not able to access services. Your small donation will make a difference in the lives of those who are in our care today, an even larger one could make a difference in the lives of those persons not yet served and their families who have assumed the burden of caring for a loved one with a lifelong disability through no fault of their own.
DONATION
Thank you for caring to make a difference! Your gift will help to create special opportunities for our residents to have once in a lifetime experiences such as attending concerts, vacations, summer camp, etc. We also use the donations to enhance our classroom experience with new art programs, music appreciation, and to purchase special adaptive equipment, like communication devices not covered by state funds. By designating your gift to "where needed most", you give Open Arms Care the flexibility to respond to the greatest needs of those we serve.
Open Arms Care is a 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit organization, determined by the Internal Revenue Service. All contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law, unless given in exchange for goods or services. All donations are confirmed by mail with a thank you letter acting as a tax receipt.
POWER OF U:
The generosity of Open Arms Care employees is overwhelming. They give of their time, their talents, their hearts, and also with their resources. Through the Power of U payroll deduction program, employees donate to the Open Arms Care Foundation to assist in expanding the services we provide.
Open Arms Care employees have contributed over $50,000 to the Open Arms Care Foundation since 2014 when the program started.
